We are always struck by the expression on the faces of both adults and children when they reach Piazza del Duomo for the first time.
That's why we have designed a family visit that is a true journey through time, where we will discover the techniques and meet the characters who created the incredible monuments of this square.
From the mosaics of the Baptistery to the construction of the Cathedral with the famous Brunelleschi's Dome, ending with the Baptistery doors and Michelangelo's Pieta in the beautiful Opera Museum. And yes, once again, our friend Fiorenza will be there with her Duomo-kit to accompany us.

Tour duration: 3 hours, visiting inside all the Monuments in the Duomo square.
With an all-inclusive ticket, you can also climb the Cupola and the Bell tower. This can be done independently or we can accompany you, on request.
We recommend dressing in an appropriate way as we will be visiting holy places.
The tour of the Baptistery, Cathedral and Museum is suitable for all visitors and is not particularly difficult.
The climbs to reach the top of the Cupola and Bell Tower each involve climbing 400 steps: these are therefore not suitable for visitors with reduced mobility and are definitely not recommended for visitors with heart conditions or those who suffer claustrophobia or vertigo symptoms.

The Admission to the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral is free.

Reduced ticket (Schools' groups, children 7-14 years old): 5,00 €
Free admission: 0-6 years old
For groups, we recommend renting radio systems. Upon request, we can handle the reservation.

When Florence is mentioned, one of the first things that comes to mind is the great dome of Brunelleschi; who arrives in the city and doesn’t see it immediately, so immense is its size?! Certainly, a tour dedicated to families that includes the extraordinary story of the construction of the world’s most famous dome, which however is not the only marvel of the square, couldn’t be missing.
We have thus created a special visit for the whole family: starting from Piazza del Duomo, we will guide you to discover all its monuments and the new Opera Museum, a container of unimaginable wonders.
The tour begins at the Baptistery of San Giovanni, with its white and green marbles and its shining mosaics, then continues with the entrance to the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, where we admire the interior of the dome with its beautiful frescoes and where we will discover many curiosities about its clock and the knights frescoed on its walls!
The second part of the visit takes place inside the Opera Museum, a true jewel of the square, reopened a few years ago in a completely new guise that makes it the most modern museum in the city, while still preserving masterpieces with centuries of history inside.
It will be in these rooms that we will get to know all the great artists of the Santa Maria del Fiore construction site better: ser Filippo Brunelleschi, Lorenzo Ghiberti, Donatello, Michelangelo!
